A day after the largest stock market decline since the COVID pandemic, a peruse of headlines on Fox News reveals the depth of the shit we’re in:

“Trump sets record straight on Musk’s White House tenure, says DOGE made ‘horrible’ new discovery.”

“Masked agitators attack conservative students at school — and police ‘did nothing’”

A peek over on the business side of Fox reveals little more:

“Gold hit a fresh record high this week: Is it time to buy, sell or hold?”

“Study reveals which major US airlines have the top frequent-flyer programs”

“US business leaders back Trump’s remedy for ‘very sick’ economy”

On the right side of the business homepage, Fox has to by shear habit post the futures for what looks to be a second rout of the market. There in red the Dow, S&P and NASDAQ are poised to lose 3.6%, 3.5%, and 3.7% respectively at the opening bell.

Not a single headline on either the main or business home page says a word about the yesterday’s or today’s decline.
