Antarctica through a porthole (photo and all photos that follow by Paul Greenberg)

A few years back, while researching a book on climate change, I had an opportunity to travel to Antarctica. It was a short trip by Antarctic standards but those few nightless weeks burned themselves into my brain and are with me every time I hear a climate change denialist yammer away. I could write more but I’ll let these images speak for themselves. This is what’s at stake. This and every other living landscape we cherish.
